The pro_X Team, who are responsible for organising the Unreal Tournament series LAN Events, was established back in late 2001/early 2002. It was during this period that they saw the need to start organizing UT LANs after some positive feedback from the humble beginnings of LAN Parties which were held in a single bedroom apartment. Over the following years the pro_X team developed a small group of followers within the UT Community primarily made up from 'Intsagib'(mod) playerswho attended smaller type LAN Parties in church halls. With the growing popularity of these LAN's came the opportunity to expand and combine resources in a bid to bring the community closer together. The pro_X crew approached another highly reputable UT LAN Team who hosted similar parties under the name of 'Fragster'. Highly receptive to the idea, but due to various reasons, the Fragster crew could not commit to a joint venture and discontinued their popular events. This left a bigger gap to fill within the UT Community so pro_X stepped up a gear and from October 2003 started to host bigger UT LAN Events that in some cases attracted UT gamers thereabouts of 100 or so. They started to cater for all the major and popular UT game types and for a single Game series LAN EVent to attract 100 participants, it was almost unheard of for it's time. LANzac became a truly unique event, or as I sometimes refer to it as... 'An Unreal Experience'. The pro_X crew are still around and working closely together with another agency titled E-SKAPE MANAGEMENT.

So here we are again, hosting another event and for all the UT hardcore and enthusiast's alike. I'd also like to take this opportunity to thank all the people who have all worked their butts off to bring everyone these cool events. I guess some people don't realize the amount of time, effot, and personal finances from some of the UT community go into the events. Without the voluntary support from everyone that's chipped in along the way, we couldn't of made it this far...You all Rock! Also to the sponsors, we need'em to bring you peeps all the cool prizes. Finally, to you punters out there, yeah you! The peeps that come from near and far including every state of Australia and even on some occasions 'New Zealand' just to participate in these LAN's...
