LANzac Event Disclaimer and Legal Notice

PARTICIPATION GUIDELINES:
- Participants WILL conduct themselves in a professional, responsible, and sportsmanlike manner.
- Participants will be available on time (as indicated in the schedule at the event)
- Participants must be ready to play at the start of their matches.
- Participants must be 15 years of age or above to attend these events.
- Participants bewteen the age of 15 - 18 years of age require their parent/s or guardian consent.
- If necessary, the winners will be available as indicated by Sponsors after any Tournament for promotional purposes.
- Failure to follow these rules guidelines will result in immediate disqualification from any Tournament.
- Absolutely no drugs. (any person forund to be intoxicated from drug or alcohol consumption will be removed from the event and authorities will be notified accordingly).
- viewing of adult, illegal, obscene, or copyrighted material or content is NOT PERMITTED.
- Respect other people's property.
- Don't touch stuff that isn't yours without permission.
- Clean up after yourself
- The basics: no guns, no knives, no bombs, no weapons of any kind, no terrorist activities, and no bad attitudes.
- The Management reserves the right to establish any rules as they become necessary, including prior or during the event. Please follow our rules to maintain a pleasant gaming experience.
- No smoking in the event area. There will be a designated smoking area outside. Please throw your butts in the butt cans.
- By attending the LANzac LAN Event, it is the registrant's responsibility to adhere to the Guidlines as described.
CHEATING:
Cheating will NOT be tolerated. Cheating is punishable by immediate disqualification from any Tournament and removal from the event. An example of this would be hacking the server in some way or utilizing any 3rd party software to give you an unfair advantage in the game.
ACTS OF VIOLENCE:
Acts of violence will NOT be tolerated. Violence will be punished with immediate disqualification from the event and removal from the premises. Violence is defined as physical force employed to violate, damage, or abuse (which can include behavior or actions). LANzac Administrators/Organizers have sole authority to judge what is considered a violent act.
Authorities (cops) will be notified if required.
OFFICIALS:
LANzac LAN Event officials along with Organizers execute all facets of the LAN Event and Tournament. LANzac Administrators/Organizers reserve the right to require any participant to replay any match for any reason, at their sole discretion and to disqualify any participant who fails to follow the Official Rules, who makes any misrepresentation relative to the Tournament, and/or the redemption of prizes, who tampers with the entry process or the operation of the Tournament or website, who acts in violation of the Official Rules, who acts in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner, or who acts with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten, or harass any other person(s). To ensure that players have played according to the Official Rules, Tournament officials will review ALL game play during the Tournament. Decisions by Tournament officials are FINAL. All prizewinners will be identified on site at the event and placed on the website's "Hall of Fame".
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY:
Sponsors and/or LANzac Administrators are not responsible for any inaccurate information, whether caused by the Official Website or by the website users or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilizied in the event or the Tournament or by any technical or human error which may occur in the processing of Tournament results. LANzac Administrators/Organizers assume NO liability for any injury, loss, or damage of any kind arising from or in connection with any persons participation in the event or Tournament, including without limitation, participation in any real life activity, or injury, loss, or damage sustained from use of any prize won. If for any reason the event or the Tournament is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer viruses, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failurs, or any other causes beyond the control of the LANzac Administrators/Organizers which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of the event or the Tournament, LANzac Administrators/Organizers reserve the right at their sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend the event and the Tournament. By participating in the Tournament, each participant agrees to be bound by the Official Rules. LANzac Administrators/Organizers SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR PUNITIVE, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR SPECIAL DAMAGES WHETHER OR NOT SUCH DAMAGES COULD HAVE BEEN FORESEEN AND WHETHER OR NOT SPONSORS OR ANY ORGANIZERS OR ADMINISTRATORS RECEIVED NOTICE THEREOF.
RELEASE:
The individual registered ("Registrant"), by attending a LANzac event, does hereby RELEASE AND WAIVE any and all causes of action, claims, losses, and damages, whether such causes of action, claims, losses, or damages are known or unknown, whether such causes of action, claims, losses, or damages exist under contract, tort, strict liability, or other theory, owned by Registrant or which may be owned by Registrant as against Sponsors or any Sponsor or any Sponsor's directors, officers, employees, agents, and representatives, arising out of, relating to, or in connection with, the event and/or the Tournament (collectively, the "CLAIMS"). Registrant FOREVER DISCHARGES LANzac Administrators/Organizers and their respective directors, officers, employees, agents, and representatives from all Claims.
INDEMNITY:
By attending the registrant does hereby agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless each LANzac Administrator/Organizer and each Sponsor's directors, officers, employees, agents, and representatives from and against all losses, lawsuits, causes of action, claims, and damages which arise from the acts or omissions of Registrant in connection with the event or the Tournament.
Neither LANzac Staff nor it's Organizers, contractors, helpers (volunteers), and/or helpers of the associated website are in any way responsible or liable for any theft or damage that may result before, during, or after the LANzac LAN Event.
Stated Parties (as mentioned above) can only temporarily control the natural and unnatural elements and therefore stated parties are not responsible for power outages, viruses, power surges, file damage, loss of files/data on hard drives or associated peripherals of such.
Stated parties (in accordance to the LAN Event at it's entirety) are not responsible for missappropriate behaviour and attitudes, malicous conduct, sleep deprivation, health conditions resulting from or therewithin, or any other mental or physical trauma.
